Working with Retama
Working With Retama
Our partnership starts with a phone call or a letter to you. Once you tell us that you want to sell your minerals, we organize the legal documentation, known as a Purchase and Sale Agreement.
Next, we coordinate the Title Confirmation, which confirms the new ownership of the property. The time range for this final step can be as little as 48 hours, depending on the number of interests being bought – meaning you could receive payment in just two days.
However, it’s important to note that payment can take up to 30 business days. Each Purchase and Sale agreement will specify the period according to your case, and we’ll be on-hand to explain everything as it unfolds.
We Are a Team of Professionals
Dedicated to helping you understand your rights and the best course of action for your mineral and royalty interests. We pride ourselves on being clear, efficient, and effective with our clients. We strive to get you a fair deal, in the shortest amount of time, and we stay by your side throughout the whole process.
At Retama, we give you honest advice with your interests in mind, both now and in the future. We firmly believe that there are a number of benefits to selling your mineral property, and we work hard to help you achieve them. The main advantages are:
Lose the risk associated with your mineral property
Poor execution from operators, fluctuating commodity prices, and lack of development can all cost you significant dollars in the long term. Selling your property means you no longer have to factor in these risks to your finances.
Make your estate easier to quantify and divide
Mineral properties don’t have a fixed value and royalties have to be managed to be received in full through an estate. Cash is much easier to distribute among parties. And that’s how we do business.
Receive payment quickly
A property may be worth more in 20 years, but Retama pays a large portion of that value in a matter of days. The value of larger payouts in the future could also be diluted by rising inflation.
Diversification Is Key To A Successful Investment Portfolio
Mineral properties don’t have a fixed value and royalties have to be managed to be received in full. Selling your mineral property gives you the financial flexibility to invest in other areas (e.g. in real estate or a 1031 exchange) and split your risk, meaning higher chances of returns. Cash is much easier to distribute among parties. And that’s how we do business.
We are not a corporation. We are passionate and personal, and we make all our clients a priority, always.
